No - Support Structure Printing Process

For my design I originally wanted to go with the very complicated one (image for reference), but after attempting to print it a few times I realized that I would need more support for the base so that the print wouldn't fail.

I decided that I was going to go with the spire, because it also looked good and had all the criteria needed for this project. It has a very satisfying shape, and since it's symmetrical it's pleasing to look at. It's also self - supporting and can print without failure. I did size it down so that it could fit within the size constraints.

I used bambu slicer to slice my model because I have a Bambu lab P1P, but it didn't change much because I used the same trick with spiral vase where I turned it on then off to get all the right settings. This project printed with both ends closed, and single perimeter.

Here is my printer printing the piece

This is the finished model still on the hotbed.

Overall I am very pleased with how this piece came out, I am a little sad that I didn't manage to print the very complicated sculpture, but I will keep playing around with it to see if I can get it to print.
